Obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) is a chronic disorder involving repetitive thoughts, urges, and/or behaviors that impair everyday functioning. Our researchers are studying the circuits that underlie OCD and have uncovered the brain connections and mechanisms that underlie habit formation and repetitive  behaviors.
